About Us


Josh and his wife, Patricia, realized the need to generate passive income to experience financial independence earlier in life. He founded Vidascend to share that realization with others and bring them along on the journey.


Taking the road more frequently traveled Like many others, Josh was told to get a degree, work for 40 years, and invest in the stock market. After a lifetime of hard work, they could retire and enjoy the fruits of their labor. But as their careers progressed and promotions occurred, the hours grew longer, and it was hard NOT to let it consume their lives. Time, life's most precious and constrained resource, only became tighter when their family expanded.

The pivot to passive income They realized the need to generate passive income. That's when they were first introduced to real estate investing through single-family homes. Not long after their first foray, though, they had a second realization - the need to scale faster. Despite the early success with single-family investing, acquiring and managing 20, 30, or 40+ individual properties wasn't feasible. Their continuous curiosity led them to multi-family investing.

Now, they want to share this opportunity with others and help them start their journey to financial freedom.

Meet The Team

Josh founded Vidascend Investment Group to help busy professionals break into real estate investing and embark on their journey to generate passive income. He is responsible for identifying properties that meet Vidascend’s stringent requirements, developing a business plan to deliver exceptional returns, and executing the plan post-acquisition.

Before his real estate career, Josh was a data-driven supply chain leader with 11+ years of experience in e-commerce, operations management, and management consulting. His extensive program management experience spans mergers and acquisitions, footprint optimization, among others. This experience lends itself well to multifamily investing and enables Vidascend to be operationally sound, providing a positive experience for all, including investors and residents.

Josh graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in supply chain management. He has also received his Certified Supply Chain Professional accreditation. Josh is a part of the Vertical Street Ventures Multifamily Academy. He’s married to his wife, Patricia, and they live in Fayetteville, AR, with their daughters Camila and Sofia.

STEVEN LOUIE

  • Steven is a Managing Partner at Vertical Street Ventures, where he is responsible for acquisitions, sourcing capital, and building key strategic partnerships. As the founder of Vertical Street Ventures, he focuses his time on revenue-generating activities for the firm through Multifamily real estate acquisitions.

    He has grown his Multifamily portfolio to over 2,500+ units across 4 states (AZ, CA, FL, TX) and has a keen focus on acquisitions and building key partner relationships across the market. In his spare time, he enjoys the “need for speed” as he shifts gears around a race track.


  • Jenny is a Managing Partner at Vertical Street Ventures, which was established to help individuals achieve their financial goals through passive investing in real estate. As one of the Founders, she currently oversees Asset Management and Investor Relations. She focuses on Business Strategy and execution of the business plan as well as managing relationships and communications with investors.

    Jenny has acquired a portfolio of over 1400+ units across AZ, TX, and GA. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Management and received her MBA from the University of Minnesota.

  • Kyle focuses on acquisitions, dispositions, underwriting, asset management, construction and operations. He builds strong local market relationships in the Arizona markets. He is also the author of the best-selling book, Best In Class, which teaches investors how to manage their multifamily assets, avoid mistakes, and build wealth through real estate. Kyle was previously a Regional Manager for a golf management company where he oversaw 250+ employees and $20MM+ in revenue daily. His overall experience in management, operations and real estate helps position Vertical Street Ventures as an industry leader in multifamily operations and acquisitions.
